SAN DIEGO – While the San Diego Chargers forced a turnover on their only series with the starting defense on the field against the Dallas Cowboys last week, one play stood among the rest.
Inside linebacker Donald Butler broke through the line of scrimmage and delivered a crushing blow to Dallas fullback Tyler Clutts, forcing running back Gus Johnson to change his path and leading to a tackle for a 1-yard loss by teammate Melvin Ingram.
