According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, the Chargers placed McCluster on the non-football injury list after he broke his forearm in an accident at his house.
Per Michael Gehlken of the San Diego Union-Tribune, the accident involved moving luggage.
The Chargers signed McCluster on Sept. 20 after Danny Woodhead was diagnosed with a season-ending ACL tear.
