Roughly 48 hours after the initial announcement of his one-game suspension, Chargers safety Derwin James will officially be on the the sideline in street clothes this Sunday as his appeal was denied by the NFLPA. The Chargers host the 3-0 Chiefs at home and will be looking to bounce back from their 20-10 loss to the Steelers on the road, but they’ll have to do it with one less superstar on the field.
Derwin James’ one-game suspension has been upheld.

James’ absence from this weekend’s game only adds to a sizable list of starters for the Chargers who won’t likely be available against the Chiefs.
