Derwin James, Joey Bosa among Chargers missing second practice of the week

For the second consecutive practice this week, the Chargers will be without stars Derwin James and Joey Bosa. As far as we know, neither are suffering from severe injuries and it’s likely both are just “working through something” as head coach Jim Harbaugh would put it.

Other players who did not suit up Wednesday per The Athletic’s Daniel Popper are DJ Chark, who left an earlier practice this week with what looked like a hip flexor injury, Trey Pipkins, Will Dissly, Hayden Hurst, Nick Niemann, Thomas Harper, Tucker Fisk, and Chris Rumph.

Dissly and Hurst make up the Chargers’ starting tight end duo.
