SAN DIEGO -- Offensive lineman Rich Ohrnberger played for the San Diego Chargers for two seasons. So the Penn State product has an intimate knowledge of the schemes and culture at Chargers Park.
Ohrnberger says if the Chargers are looking to select a defensive lineman early in this year’s draft, University of Oregon product DeForest Buckner would be a great fit for defensive coordinator John Pagano’s 3-4 defensive scheme.
Many draft analysts have made the obvious comparison with Buckner to Arizona Cardinals defensive end Calais Campbell because of their similar size.
