It hasn't been the best rookie season for San Diego Chargers first-round pick Melvin Gordon.
The running back from Wisconsin has not had a 100-yard game this year and suffered an ugly-looking leg injury in Sunday's 30-14 win over the Miami Dolphins. He was able to walk off under his own power, per Michael Gehlken of the San Diego Union-Tribune, but his status going forward is uncertain.
Out goes Gordon, in come Danny Woodhead and Donald Brown to the rescue.
Woodhead has never been a traditional running back.
