The 2019 NFL Draft is still a few months away, but mock draft season is well under way. NFL.com’s Daniel Jeremiah released his first mock draft of said season earlier this week. As most mock drafters have been doing thus far, Jeremiah stayed on the defensive side of the ball when selecting the Los Angeles Chargers’ first pick. He chose to focus on the front seven, giving the Bolts a linebacker out of Alabama, Mack Wilson.
Jeremiah said of the selection:
The Chargers need to get better at the linebacker position and Wilson is a true three-down player.
