On Monday evening, defensive tackle Damion Square announced on his instagram account that he has been re-signed by the Chargers.
Square returns to the Bolts as a solid veteran presence along the interior of the defensive line who can play all positions up front. While mostly an interior defender, Square played outside at the big end spot in place of Joey Bosa back in 2018 and found success. In 2019, Square totaled 27 tackles, one tackle-for-loss, and two pass deflections in 16 games with four stats.
