After being released by the Chargers earlier this year, former first-round pick Mike Williams wound up heading to the Jets on a one-year deal in hopes of continuing his strong career with another elite quarterback. Unfortunately, things have not materialized for Williams in New York as the veteran has just 10 catches for 145 yards and no touchdowns through six games.
Now, with the Jets having just dealt for Davante Adams to reunite him with Aaron Rodgers, many are beginning to wonder if New York will deal Williams now that’s he been minimized to WR4 on the depth chart.
