Four men with ties to the San Diego Chargers are being considered for enshrinement into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
Don Coryell, Leslie O'Neal, Lorenzo Neal and Marty Schottenheimer are among the 108 modern era nominees for the Hall's Class of 2017, which were announced Tuesday night.
Coryell has been among the final 15 modern era finalists the past two years and three times since 2010. He coached the Chargers from 1978-86 and is best known for his creation of a wide open offense known as "Air Coryell." He took the Chargers to two AFC championship games but never a Super Bowl.
