SAN DIEGO (CBS 8) - As Mayor Faulconer and his advisory group continue to negotiate with the Chargers on a stadium deal to keep them in San Diego several concept art throughout the process have been unveiled of what the stadium could look like when (or if?) it's ever built.
Designs for the new stadium have floated around since 2009 when there was still talk about building a stadium beside Petco Park in the East Village or even relocating to Chula Vista.
One of the first to take a stab at it in 2009 was developer Perry Dealy with a plan to redevelop the area around the existing Qualcomm site with residential, retail, hotel as well as SDSU classroom and office space.
