On Friday afternoon, NFL insider Tom Pelissero reported that the Chargers are releasing running back Isaiah Spiller from the practice squad. Spiller was one of the players initially signed to the PS after final cuts were announced but it looks like the team may be making room for running back Jaret Patterson who cleared waivers. Patterson made the team’s initial 53-man roster but was waived following the signing of Hassan Haskins, a former back under Jim Harbaugh at Michigan.
