Chargers WR room ranked as 3rd-largest roster hole among NFL teams

The Chargers wide receiver room is looking a bit lackluster these days compared to recent years.

Gone are both Keenan Allen and Mike Williams, the team’s top wideouts of the past six years. Josh Palmer, the team’s previous WR3, now leads a group that features 2023 first-rounder Quentin Johnston, 2024 second-round pick Ladd McConkey, and veteran DJ Chark. This group has potential, but until they take the field, that’s all fans can hang their hats on.

Per NFL.com’s Kevin Patra, this isn’t just an underwhelming group, it’s apparently a top-3 glaring roster hole in all of the NFL.
