Thursday’s win over the Raiders featured a ton of young and inexperienced players — mainly on the offensive side of the ball — stepping up established veterans who have been a bit banged up as of late.
Two of those notable players were wide receivers Jalen Guyton and Tyron Johnson. The two second-year players combined for 152 yards and a score in place of Keenan Allen and Mike Williams who were both hampered coming into Thursday night.
Isaac Rochell and Nwosu also played more than usual due to Joey Bosa being limited on the night with a mystery ailment.
