The Bolts decided to keep their most expensive Running Back on the same day the team went younger and cheaper at Kicker.
Not Quite Enough
The San Diego Chargers released Free Agent Rookie Running Back Dreamius Smith as part of the last round of cuts to reach the 53 roster limit earlier today. With this move, the Chargers retained the services of Donald Brown. Smith was the team's leading rusher in pre-season, with 74 yards on 28 carries. In yards per carry, he was the Bolts' 4th best back during preseason, finishing behind Branden Oliver, Danny Woodhead, and the previously released Jahwan Edwards.
