On Monday morning, the Chargers announced they have waived a pair of players in quarterback Casey Bauman and wide receiver Praise Olatoke.
Bauman was signed as part of the team’s 2024 undrafted free agent haul following the 2024 NFL Draft. He played his college ball at FCS Montana State before transferring to Division II Augustana. He did not earn any playing time during the Chargers’ 16-3 preseason loss to the Seahawks on Saturday.
Olatoke is a former member of the Ohio State Track & Field Team who joined the Chargers after a tryout during minicamp.
