The first two Chargers preseason games were about as uneventful as it gets. The third one? Well it might as well have been a Project X party compared to the past two weeks.
The Chargers defense recorded six takeaways, five of them being interceptions off of quarterback Trey Lance. The other was a forced fumble by safety Tony Jefferson who had the game of his life. Recently un-retired, the veteran snagged two picks, forced the aforementioned fumble, sacked Lance, and had 14 total tackles. At this rate, how do you NOT keep him on the active roster?
Easton Stick played the entire game in his final chance to show the coaching staff that he belongs.
