The second half of the Chargers season has been highlighted by a lot of teams boasting some of the best offenses in the NFL. This week is no different as the Bolts will welcome the Buccaneers and their third-ranked offense to SoFi Stadium.
Quarterback Baker Mayfield is enjoying one of his best seasons as a pro and he continues to look revitalized after his stints in Cleveland and Carolina.
Defensively, the Bucs are not the stout unit they’ve been in recent years, ranking 28th in yards allowed per game. That once again opens the door just enough for the Chargers offense to keep up as long as their elite defense continues to be just that.
