Remember when the Los Angeles Chargers’ didn’t have any good options at the center position?
It wasn’t that long ago that Chris Watt was struggling at the position, but last season, free-agent acquisition Matt Slauson stepped up in a big way. He was so good that the Chargers didn’t even have to worry about using rookie Max Tuerk, who is looking to make a much bigger impact this season.
Through the first round of OTAs, Spencer Pulley was being placed at center and drew solid reviews from the coaching staff. Suddenly, the Chargers have a plethora of options at the center spot and that doesn’t even include undrafted rookie Dillon DeBoer.
