Two Chargers defenders, one Megatron.
The math worked out for San Diego, which contained not only Calvin "Megatron" Johnson but other Detroit Lions receivers Sunday in the season opener for both teams
Johnson finished with only two catches, a paltry total for the All-Pro perennial, and none of his teammates did enough damage in solo coverage to prevent the Chargers from winning, 33-28, at Qualcomm Stadium.
"I'm not bitter," Johnson said. "It's a long season."
When Johnson rolled for 28 yards in the first quarter, off a quick pass over the middle, the Chargers looked headed to a long afternoon.
