Chargers to host Saints for joint practices again

Jeff Duncan of the Times-Picayune reports that the teams will practice together twice prior to their preseason game and it is expected that these practices, which will be held at the Chargers’ training complex in Costa Mesa, will be open to the public.

The teams practiced with one another last summer before playing a preseason game against each other, a game the Saints won 13-7. The Chargers’ only points came on a 99-yard interception return by Dexter McCoil.

The last regular season meeting between the Saints and Chargers came in October 2016, a game the Saints won 35-34 after capitalizing on a late fumble by Travis Benjamin.
