The Chargers are signing former Vikings and Jets tight end Tyler Conklin to a one-year deal. The news was first broke by his agent Mike McCartney.

Conklin is a former fifth-round pick of the Minnesota Vikings back in 2018. He played collegiately at Central Michigan where was named Third-Team All-MAC as a senior. He ended his college career with 83 catches for 1,159 yards and 11 touchdowns.
After being buried on the depth chart through his first three seasons with the Vikings, Conklin broke out during the 2021 season with 61 receptions for 593 yards and three touchdowns while starting 15-of-17 games.
