On Thursday afternoon, the Chargers made a pair of moves with the roster ahead of Sunday’s game.
First, the Chargers are signing safety Tony Jefferson to the active roster from the practice squad. Jefferson will replace Derwin James on the roster as he fulfills his one-game suspension handed down by the NFLPA earlier this week. In a corresponding move, the Chargers are signing offensive lineman Braden Daniels to the practice squad to fill Jefferson’s place.
