Chargers sign S Eddie Jackson to practice squad

On Monday afternoon, the Chargers announced a handful of roster moves, mainly pertaining to the back end of the secondary.

Firstly, the Chargers announced the signing of veteran safety Eddie Jackson to the practice squad. In a corresponding move, the team also released running back John Kelly from the practice squad.

In a move announced roughly 90 minutes later, the team has placed safety Marcus Maye on injured reserve.

Jackson is a former first-round pick by the Chicago Bears in 2017 out of the University of Alabama.
