After the Chargers brought in five different running backs for workouts earlier this week, it looks like the team went with the most-familiar option. On Friday morning, the Chargers announced that they are re-signing Troymaine Pope to the practice squad to fill the space left by fullback Gabe Nabers, who was promoted to the active roster on Thursday.

The former Jets and Seahawks running back played in 14 games for the Chargers in 2019, finishing with just 20 yards on 10 carries while averaging 20.
