The Chargers weren’t done adding players in free agency after all.
On Monday morning, former Texans beat writer Aaron Wilson reported that former Bengals and Texans defensive tackle Christian Covington is signing with the Chargers. Covington started 14 games for Cincinnati in 2020 where he finished with a career-high 39 total tackles.

Originally a sixth-round pick out of Rice by the Texans, Covington served in a backup role for Houston through his four years with the team.
