SAN DIEGO – The Chargers have had one of the most potent offenses this season when looking at yards per game.
San Diego is No. 1 in passing offense (329 yard per game) and No. 4 in total offense through nine games (414 yards per game).
However, that success has not resulted in points on the scoreboard, with the Chargers averaging just 23 points a contest, No. 16 in the NFL.
One of the things the Chargers have struggled with all season is consistently running the football. And there could be a simple change the team could make during the bye week to change its success rate in that area -- run more two tight-end sets.
