With mock drafts coming out of the woodwork now that we’re inching closer and closer to the end of the regular season, I thought I’d continue with another after posting about Mel Kiper’s first mock of the season, yesterday.
In this one by CBS Sports NFL analyst Chris Trapasso, the Chargers are selecting Georgia tight end Darnell Washington with the 16th-overall pick in the draft. Of course, this means that Trapasso has the Bolts missing out on the playoffs entirely this year.
Washington is close to finishing his third year with the Bulldogs where he’s been utilized alongside fellow tight end Brock Bowers within Georgia’s run-first offense.
