With the 200th pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, the Los Angeles Chargers select: Emeke Egbule, LB Houston.
Egbule has great size at 6’2 245lbs. Despite the larger size is still a very good athlete having run a 4.65 40 yard dash, 33” vert, 9’11” broad jump. He is very active and always around the ball. His last season at Houston he had 69 tackles, 5.5 TFL, 2 sacks, an INT, 4 PD, 4 FR, and 2 FF.
Egbule continues the trend of adding versatile athletes to the Chargers defense and he should at a minimum provide special teams value early.
