With the 118th pick in the 2021 NFL draft, the Chargers selected edge rusher Chris Rumph II out of Duke.
Rumph is a bit light in the pants at 6’3 and 245 pounds (weighed in at 235 during the season) but this guy is just tenacious in getting after the quarterback. When watching his tape, the word “slippery” comes to mind. Rumph didn’t run the 40 during his pro day but tested well in the all-important three-cone drill with a 7.09.
