COSTA MESA, Calif. -- Out since June after suffering a pulmonary embolism due to blood clots, Los Angeles Chargers left tackle Russell Okung will play for the first time this season against the Chicago Bears on Sunday, according to head coach Anthony Lynn.
Okung missed all of training camp and has been on the non-football illness list since the start of the regular season, however, he began practicing last week.
Okung only had two practices, so Lynn said he decided to hold him out of the Chargers' 23-20 loss to the Tennessee Titans over the weekend.
