The San Diego Chargers have purchased land in Santa Ana, California, with the purpose of turning it into a team headquarters and practice facility should they move to Los Angeles, according to Kevin Acee of the San Diego Union-Tribune.
The team released a statement Thursday, per Vincent Bonsignore of the Los Angeles Daily News:

NFL owners granted the Chargers the right to move from San Diego to Los Angeles earlier in January. Any move is contingent on the team agreeing to partially own or lease the upcoming Inglewood Stadium being built by the Rams.
