The San Diego Chargers issued a statement Tuesday after video surfaced that appeared to show a security guard engaging in a sexual act during Sunday's defeat to the Oakland Raiders.
Deadspin's Tom Ley shared the team's statement: "We are aware of the disturbing actions of an Elite security staff member at Sunday's game. We apologize to any fans who may have witnessed the incident. Elite Security is currently investigating the incident and has vowed to take immediate and appropriate action."
Elite confirmed it has launched an investigation regarding the matter.
The Chargers have used the San Diego-based security company to patrol games for decades.
