Just two days after he survived final roster cuts, Chargers safety Tony Jefferson is being release, per NFL insider Ian Rapoport. The release comes as the corresponding move to Wednesday trade for Titans defensive back Elijah Molden. Jefferson is expected to return to the Chargers on the practice squad.
