The Chargers continue there efforts to upgrade the team’s special teams unit by interviewing some of the nation’s top talent in the third phase of the game. Most recently, the Bolts have met with Stanford receiver and kick returner Connor Wedington over the phone, per Justin Melo of The Draft Network.
Wedington only played in three games during his abbreviated senior season last year, starting all of them and finishing with 15 receptions for 157 yards. He also posted four kickoff returns for 95 yards.
However it was the 2019 season that put Wedington on the map as an all-purpose threat.
