For the second consecutive game, the Chargers defense dominated their opponent. This time, they held the Panthers to just three points and kept them to zero third-down conversions until the middle of the third quarter. In all, they held quarterback Bryce Young in check so harshly that the Panthers decided enough was enough as they’ve chosen to bench him in favor of veteran Andy Dalton.
