The Chargers didn’t wait long to fill the void left on the practice squad after promoting linebacker Asmar Bilal to the active roster. Former Bengals draft pick Malik Jefferson is back with the Bolts after spending most of last season on the practice squad and being with the team during all of this year’s training camp.

Jefferson played mostly MIKE linebacker with the Chargers, according to a press conference with Anthony Lynn earlier this year.
