The television ratings for the 2017 regular season make it very clear: the Chargers and Rams aren’t capturing the hearts of Los Angelenos the way they did in their former cities of San Diego and St. Louis.
The St. Louis Post-Dispatch acquired the ratings in Los Angeles for the two teams and found that the Chargers averaged a 6.0 rating in their first season playing in Carson, while the Rams averaged 8.0 in their second year at the Los Angeles Coliseum.
Remove the Chargers’ season opener and their two games against the Raiders, and the Bolts averaged a 5.
