Throughout the Chargers’ schedule, this game ball article series will recognize a player who truly impacted the game. As is the norm for preseason games there were quite a few players who stood out, including Uchenna Nwosu, Forrest Lamp, Isaac Rochell, Drue Tranquill, Easton Stick, and the running back duo of Austin Ekeler and Justin Jackson. However, it’s safe to say that no one showed more consistency and control of his position more than backup quarterback Tyrod Taylor. He is the clear choice for this week’s game ball.
Taylor demonstrated a strong grasp of the offense and was very efficient in his debut for the Chargers.
