Titus Davis kept apologizing.
"I'm sorry," he said to two Chargers assistants. "Can I do one more? I'm sorry."
They corralled the footballs and loaded the JUGS machine once more, the start of his latest round. One by one, 15 footballs were peppered at the last man still practicing Friday, an undrafted rookie wide receiver fighting for a roster spot.
