The Chargers came up short 19-17 against the Chiefs on Sunday Night Football. They regrouped at halftime following a scoreless first half to push Kansas City until the very end thanks to standout performance by several Chargers that stepped up in the absence of wideout Ladd McConkey.
With the loss, the Bolts dropped to 8-5 with four games left in the regular season, but that loss did not have as much of an impact as you’d expect on the placement for the team in this week’s power rankings. They’re still hanging tough in and around the top 10 of the NFL.
