The Los Angeles Chargers announced Tuesday that they’ve placed OL Matt Slauson on injured reserve with a biceps tear and signed OL Michael Ola to a contract.
Slauson, 31, is a former sixth-round pick of the Jets back in 2009. He spent four years in New York before signing on with the Bears in 2013.
The Chargers elected to sign Slauson to a two-year, $3 million contract last May, which means he’ll be an unrestricted free agent next year.
In 2017, Slauson appeared in seven games for the Chargers and is rated by Pro Football Focus as the No.
