The Los Angeles Chargers officially placed DE Chris Landrum on injured reserve Wednesday after he passed through waivers unclaimed.
Landrum, 24, wound up signing a three-year, $1.62 million contract with the Chargers as an undrafted free agent out of Jacksonville State back in May of last year. He stands to make base salaries of $540,000 and $630,000 over the next two years of the contract.
The Chargers waived Landrum with an injury designation on Tuesday.
In 2016, Landrum appeared in 10 games for the Chargers and recorded four tackles and a sack.
