SAN DIEGO – Kenny Wiggins had a dose of reality last season. After three years in the NFL working toward his dream of making a roster, Wiggins was released during the San Diego Chargers' final roster cuts out of training camp.
The Chargers wanted to keep Wiggins on the practice squad, but he did not have any practice-squad eligibility and was out of the league for most of the 2014 season.
Wiggins joined the Chargers late in the year, playing in his first NFL regular-season game in the team’s season finale against the Kansas City Chiefs.
