It’s looking more and more like the Chargers will be without starting offensive tackles Rashawn Slater and Joe Alt against the Chiefs this week. There’s also now a chance that they’ll also be without starting right guard Trey Pipkins after he showed up on the Wednesday injury report with a foot injury. All three players were absent from Wednesday’s practice.
During Wednesday’s practice, The Athletic’s Daniel Popper noted that the Chargers were working a variety of offensive line combinations in an attempt to find the best group through the rash of injuries.
With Zion Johnson and Bradley Bozeman healthy, those two stuck with their normal positions of left guard and center, respectively.
