As an NFL rookie, James Jones caught passes from Brett Favre.
Then he snagged the spirals of Aaron Rodgers, his Green Bay Packers teammate for eight years.
So, the veteran receiver and Chargers newcomer knows he’s been fortunate.
“I’ve been blessed in my career to catch passes from, really, three Hall of Famers,” Jones was saying Tuesday from Chargers Park.
Three?
You betcha.
“(Philip) Rivers is going to the Hall of Fame,” Jones said. “Rodgers is going to the Hall of Fame, and Brett’s already there.”
Jones, who has a Super Bowl ring with a big assist from Rodgers, appreciates that championship rings sway observers and athletes alike.
