Among the bigger free agent names still on the market is former first-round pick Leonard Fournette. The former Super Bowl winner with the Buccaneers was most recently with the Bills in 2023 where he played in just two games, recording 12 carries for 40 yards.
In Fournette’s last season with the Buccaneers, Fournette recorded nine starts, rushing for 668 yards while adding a career-high 523 receiving yards. The year prior in 2021, he topped 1,200 scrimmage yards for just the third time in his career. So while the production falloff this past season is scary to look at, he’s not far removed from having success in a shared backfield role.
