The Chargers may look to add another running back to their stable in this year’s draft and if they aren’t able to land someone like North Carolina’s Omarion Hampton in the first round, there will still be plenty of backs throughout day two and three that could entice the Bolts.
One of those backs could be Kansas State’s DJ Giddens, an explosive 6’0, 212-pounder who ran a 4.43 40 time and posted a 39.5-inch vertical at this year’s combine. Per The Draft Network’s Justin Melo, Giddens met formally with the Chargers while in Indianapolis.
