On Saturday evening, ahead of today’s tilt with the Las Vegas Raiders, the Chargers made a handful of roster transactions, including placing a player on the reserve/COVID-19 list.
First, the Bolts signed defensive end Jessie Lemonier to the active roster to provide pass-rush depth due to Joey Bosa being sidelined this week with a concussion. Secondly, the team used their extra two active game day spots to promote running back Kalen Ballage and defensive back Quenton Meeks to the active roster.
Lastly, cornerback Brandon Facyson was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list and safety Jaylen Watkins was signed to the team’s practice squad.
