Concussed by a Browns defender, Chargers wide receiver Malcom Floyd departed the first half of Sunday's game at Qualcomm Stadium.
Floyd took a hit from linebacker Nate Orchard after another Browns defender had wrapped up Floyd on a 20-yard reception.
Floyd went to the sideline, where the Chargers' training staff looked at him.
He returned to the game, but then departed. The team announced he will not return due to a concussion.
In addition to his 20-yard catch, the 299th of his career, placing him 10th in franchise history, Floyd created another first down by causing a Browns holding penalty.
